Cuando en Excel queremos ingresar como dato una fecha, debemos hacerlo sigu=
iendo determinado formato.
Si no, Excel toma el dato ingresado simplemente como un texto.
Por ejemplo, si ingresamos 09/11/2022 Excel lo toma como fecha. Pero si ing=
resamos 2022-11-15, lo toma como un texto. (El formato en s=C3=AD depende d=
e c=C3=B3mo tengas configurado tu Excel.)
La ventaja de que un dato sea realmente una fecha en Excel es que nos permi=
te hacer varias operaciones =C3=BAtiles. Por ejemplo, comparar si una fecha=
es anterior a otra, ver cu=C3=A1ntos d=C3=ADas de diferencia hay entre ell=
as, mostrar a qu=C3=A9 d=C3=ADa de la semana corresponde y muchas cosas m=
=C3=A1s.
Cuando importamos datos desde otro archivo (por ejemplo una p=C3=A1gina web=
, un archivo CSV, etc.), es posible que entre los datos figuren fechas, per=
o no en el formato adecuado.
Y en esos casos es conveniente transformar las fechas originales al formato=
de Excel, por si queremos hacer las operaciones que te dec=C3=ADa antes.
